I believe in a constant development of balance, functional strength and cardio vascular/heart strength.  I use direct feedback from your heart via a heart rate monitor not a one size fits all formula. My favorite tools for training are simple yet highly effective..free weights..Bosu ball..resistance ball..jump rope.. resistance bands..recumbent bike..music..plyometric platforms.

 


 

Weight Loss--You are evaluated for body fat..body mass index..vo2mx..tape measured..photographed.

Basic dietary and fluid intake guidelines are discussed and a fat burning heart strengthening program is developed for your body.



 

Strength Training--Same evaluation as above including a "pure power" method of muscle development

to insure you are injury free and maintain joint and ligament integrity while increasing muscle strength and flexibility.


Core Strength and Flexibility--Core strength is the gyroscope of your body. The yin and yang.

In this case the front, back, sides of your midsection. True balance cannot be achieved without a strong core.  True flexibility cannot be achieved without a pain free supple core system. Strength and flexibility.

A simple program is designed to suit your bodies needs to release back tension, build a strong foundation/base of abdominal/rotation strength.


Assisted Stretching---You lay on the table and I stretch you.  If necessary I use resistance bands to assist me in the stretch.  This is very similar to sport stretching.  Designed to increase blood flow and release tension and tightness in your muscles.
